Digitalization is a challenge for the business models of companies in each and every sector. Change is ubiquitous and for many enterprises this change has already become a reality. The developments are accompanied by new requirements to the legal system. The theory discussed among experts, saying that „Industrie 4.0“ still battles with “law 3.0”, is an illustrative description of the current situation.
In Europe and Germany, many challenges result from the regulatory environment (e.g. data protection and data security law, telecommunication law, antitrust law, product liability law).
