PRACTICE AREA

Ms Meyer has been working in the field of private building and architectural law since the beginning of her career. Her main areas of focus were and are

• legal advice on major construction projects, including legal support for the management of supplementary claims for additional work and services and claims relating to the construction period,

• the drafting of construction contracts, general contractor and property developer contracts, architects’ contracts and contracts for the procurement of goods, construction and services,
• representing clients and contractors in court, including conducting independent proceedings for the taking of evidence, enforcing and defending against actions for wages and fees and rights arising from defects, etc.
