PRACTICE AREA
Mr. Krekel specializes in the field of industrial property law, especially trademark law, patent law, and competition law. He focuses primarily on providing legal advice on the development of products, trademark concepts, and advertising concepts. He also focuses on research and development cooperation ventures and the public-sector support of such ventures, particularly in aviation, and the licensing of industrial property rights, trade secrets, and industrial know-how.
Mr. Krekel is a member of the INTA (International Trademark Association) and the AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), among other associations. He also represents the law firm in the association LawExchange International and leads their IP/IT Practice Group.
Recommendations: Mr. Krekel has regularly been cited as an often-recommended lawyer for trademark law in the JUVE law guide, as well as in the list “The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals” published by the “World Trademark Review.”
