Dr. Engbrink specializes in the fields of intellectual property (IP), events, media, marketing and data protection. He advises and represents companies in and out of court, particularly in the areas of trademark, copyright, competition, media and event law.
The clients served by Dr. Engbrink particularly include media and event companies, companies in the entertainment industry, IT companies, publishers, artists and agencies.

- Enforced a technology company’s IP rights following unauthorized disclosure of business secrets
- Defended a retail merchant’s importing and distribution rights against claims by a Japanese electronics manufacturer
- Enforced the rights of a company in the pharmaceutical and pharmacy industry to distribute medications on an Internet commerce platform
